What is the Capital Region?
The Southern Eastern region of NSW including and surrounding the ACT and incorporating:
- Bega Valley, Bombala, Boorowa, Cootamundra, Cooma-Monaro, Eastern Capital City Regional, Eurobodalla, Greater Argyle, Gundagai, Harden, Palarang, Queanbeyan City, Snowy River, Tumbarumba, Tumut, Upper Lachlan, Yass Valley, and Young.
How is the Capital Region represented?
The Regional Leaders' Forum has been invited to make nominations from the region for representation on the Board and the Management Committee. Currently we have representation from Bungendore, Cootamundra and some interest from Yass.
How can funds flow from/to the region?
All donations will be receipted as capital and invested in the Open Fund or Gift Fund of GreaterGood. Income from the funds will be disbursed annually in keeping with recommendations for named charities or in keeping with recommendations of the board for the non-linked accounts (GreaterGood). All income will be held in trust while the board seeks expressions of interest from the community for specific projects that meet criteria established by the Board.
